De chi ies'a?

In the Gardena valley it’s very common to hear the question “De chi ies'a?” It literally means “From whom are you?” and it’s a question you will be asked from older people that know the different families that have Ladin origins.

If we had to answer this question it would be of the family “Trina de Ianesc”. It’s the name of our great-great-grandfather and his wife. And we used it to define our brand identity by calling us Triiina.
